Hey everyone!

My name is Johanna, but I usually just go by Jo for short.   My fiance and I have an 11-month-old Golden Retriever named Tucker.  We live in Hampden, which is just outside of Bangor.  We went to the event in Scarborough a few weeks ago and had a blast!  Tucker is new at dock diving, but we plan to practice with him as much as possible this summer and we're planning on going to the event in New Hampshire in September, which we can't wait for!

Hi my name is Matt and my fiance and I want to start a Maine club. We have seen so much interest in the area and traveling to Boston with all the stuff for DockDogs is too far.

My name is Kim and I am also attending the Dock Dogs event that was in Maine.  I live in Berwick (York County) and am very interested in doing more events just closer to home.  I am planning on going to Maryland in July because we really like the event and are going to make a vacation out of it.  My boyfriend Louie and dog Bailey are really looking forward to a club being developed in Maine.
Let me know what I need to do to get this started.

Our names are Chandler and Sadie, we live in Portland, and we have a 3-year old golden retriever named Fischer. He's competed a couple of times, including a few weeks ago in Scarborough--so much fun! We'd love to see more competitions up this way.

My name is Kathy and I'm in Fryeburg, ME. Unfortunately I didn't her about DD in Scarborough so I didn't get to see it, but I have a 2 yr black lab named Moxie that I think would really like to try it out! She practices rally, agility, obed. and tracking also. She is also a demo dog for a service dog organization.  She is always looking for something to do.  For fun she plays frisbee and I must say is getting pretty good at it.
I also have a 9 1/2 yr old bloodhound named Windsor who loves the water but I don't know if we could convince him to jump off.  Our  5 yr old basset Named Sally would probably push him though Roll Eyes

I just need to find a dock to jump off of. Any sugg?

Brian here in Midcoast Maine.

Attended on the soggy Sunday in Scarborough and enjoyed the competition as a spectator.

GREAT to see it coming together.

Let's get some dates/times together for the initial meeting with Christen.

Hi,

This is Christine. I live in South Berwick. I was at the event in Scarborough. Hopefully you stopped by my table. I am a volunteer with Maine Aussie Rescue and one of my dogs Kane was with me being the great spokesman that he is. I am glad others are interested too. I have three Australian Shepherds but I think Oliver, my 4 yr old would be the best at this type of event.

Sally will make a great cheerleader provided she has a chair to relax in!  Windsor can be a loud cheerleader as well! ( I can't go ANYWHERE without people knowing we have arrived)

Hi my name is Anne and I live in Dover NH. I am super interested in trying DD with my dogs.   I have a ball crazy greyhound that I would love to try it with.  I'm still working on the swimming part, but the chasing part is all set.  :-)

Wow, this is really exciting how many people are posting and showing interest in Maine!  Looks like this is really happening!  We can't wait.  Matt and I are more than willing to do anything to help out with anything that needs to be done!    Cool

We met up with Mary this weekend to do some practice jumps, but the dock wasn't in the water.  We were so tempted to push one of the picnic tables into the water to use as a dock, but Matt didn't think that was such a great idea!   Cheesy
